NOT CONFIRMED!

http://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-147356.0.html

A Female Branch Manager in charge of one of the Zenith Bank branches on the Island was given the boot last week for asking members of staff who were unable to meet their monthly targets to kneel down on the floor.  This bizarre incident which started as a joke saw many senior banking officers go down on their knees as a result of their "non-performance"

The story had it that the male senior officers were the first to go down on their knees, leaving the female and junior marketing officers with no choice than to follow suit. This led to the resigning of a very popular and hardworking male Senior Officer who was due for promotion in July.

In a swift reaction after getting the news, Jim Ovia, MD/CEO of Zenith gave the  female manager the boot immediately the story was confirmed and apologised to all involved and in fact gave all the affected staff his personal numbers urging them to call or send him a text in case anything is bothering them.

I'm sure similar things do happen in other banks across this country.

This is really Banking turned upside down
